  Dave Galbreath doing work as Dave Galbreath Construction, High Sierra Log Homes and Home Inspections. Mr. Galbreath used his Pettibone lift to help me build a cabin. Before and during his work on the site I urged him to use care not to damage the beautiful Aspen trees on the site. I explained in part that the trees on my site have been photographed by photographers from around the world. Despite my urgings, his negligent operation of his equipment caused permanent scars and damage to seven Aspen trees. A little care could have easily avoided the damage. He also spent a significant amount of time standing around not working despite my requests to have him help with other construction work. When I sent him a letter describing the Aspen tree damage back-charges that I would be crediting against his final payment, he left a very angry and unprofessional message on my phone including vulgar profanities. Then he sued me.
  
  I would not recommend hiring Dave Galbreath.
